Randy here at etrailer.com.Oftentimes, when hauling a gooseneck camper, our customers are always asking, how can they make it smoother How can they make that experience more enjoyable Generally, you'll have a lot of chucking back and forth, or depending on the load, you'll have a lot of bouncing coming into your truck from that energy being transferred directly down onto that gooseneck.Basically what we're taking a look at today is a fix for all of those problems. This is from Convert-A-Ball. This is their cushioned gooseneck. Basically this system is going to give us 360 degrees of cushion, so forward, back, left and right, but also up and down. I really like this design as compared to some of the other cushioned goosenecks that are out there, because this one gives us all-range of motion cushioning, rather than just the up and down.It uses a polyurethane bushing built right into the head, so this part is going to be separate from this part. more

Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the Bulldog Gooseneck Trailer Coupler. This is designed to work with two and five sixteenth inch balls, and has a max gross towing weight of 25,000 pounds.The nice thing about this trailer coupler is that it has the oversized handle here at the back, so even if you're wearing large work gloves, you can still get that coupled and uncoupled easily. To do that, so right now it's closed, you pull up and flip it over into that second position up at the top. That's going to be the open position. Drop it down, make sure it secures all the way, and flip it to either side to keep that secure. You can put a little lock through the holes there to keep that secure, so no one can tamper with your trailer.Also, at the bottom, it's going to have that cast locking plate, and that's going to fit tightly around that two and five sixteenth inch ball, which is going to reduce chucking and jarring. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Bulldog BX1 Gooseneck Trailer Coupler. This works with two and five 16th inch balls, and it has a max gross trailer weight of 20,000 pounds. Now the biggest differences with this Gooseneck Trailer Coupler is that it's going to have that shorter profile. As trucks these days are getting higher and higher. It's a lot nicer to have that coupler also be a shorter profile, so you don't have to have it sink down into your bed as far. It's going to make hooking up and disconnecting a lot quicker.This is also going to have the extra wide funnel as a bottom for that ball to sit in. more

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Pro Series Gooseneck. This Gooseneck coupler is a very strong durable design and it's really easy to use. On the bottom side, I just want to point out that it features a self centering lock plate so the large design is designed to help the unit engage. Even if you miss the ball by just an inch or so, that's a nice design of the unit. So the ball will hit here, it'll guide into the connection point and the self centering locking plate just insures that as long as you get that ball close, you're not going to have nay problem making your connection.when it comes to the construction we're looking at a stamped steel construction with a raw finish so it's ready to be primed. It's ready to be painted, that way you can have it match the rest of your trailer. more

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Bulldog BX1 Gooseneck Coupler Inner Tube. This sturdy, short inner tube pairs with an existing outer tube to create an adjustable gooseneck coupler. This is designed to work with a 2 and 5/16 inch hitch ball, so if I flip this over, you can see right here, this is a slot of the 2 and 5/16 inch hitch ball.Now, one of the neat features I want to point out about this is that it uses an oversize funnel which makes it easy to guide the ball into the socket so the bottom locking plate is about 50% larger when compared to other brands, and this coupler is designed to engage even if you miss the ball by just over an inch. That is a really, really nice design of the unit. To open it up, you simply rotate the handle, slide the plate over, and move it into an open position. Now you can easily get connected, and then a locked or closed position, move the handle, slide the plate back over, and that's all there is to it.It's really nice and easy to use. more

Today we're going to review part number BWTEXA4200. This is B&W Extend A Goose Gooseneck Coupler with a 10 inch offset and a 24,000 pound weight capacity. This is a sturdy inner tube which is designed to pair with your existing outer tube on your gooseneck trailer to help create a coupler for hooking your trailer up to your truck. As you can see, the 10 inch offset design will give you that extra clearance between your truck cab and your trailer and it will allow you to make tight turns even with a short bed drop 00:00:33. This is designed with a heavy wall, designed tubing and has internal gussets on the inside which will ensure strength. Has this easy to grip spring loaded handle which will ease hook up to the ball and also it is lockable. If you'll notice when I unlock it, you'll see this little hole in the handle right here and then when you go to lock it, that hole drops below here. You can actually put a padlock through here if you like, to give you extra security. Now the padlocks we do sell separately if you do want one. more

Today we're going to review part number BWGNC4250, this is the BMW defender locking goose neck coupler base assembly. It is round and it has a 25,000 pound weight capacity. Now this steady 00:00:16 inner tube is designed to pair with your existing outer tube to help create an adjustable goose neck coupler for hooking your trailer up to your truck. On the very bottom here it uses a comb shaped funnel which we'll make it very easy to guide the ball into the socket. Basically if your goose neck ball like this is within two inches of this, the comb would actually slide it into and guide it into, the ball into the socket.Now it does have this automatic latching mechanism right here for super simple hookup. Basically you just pull this handle out, rotate it up to open the coupler and then you line your hitch ball up with this coupler and then lower the trailer and the internal latch will automatically engage around the ball and lock it into place. more
